…. Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. And be sure to visit in spring when the foggy mornings are few and the sun is starting to heat up the city. San Francisco is a very welcoming city. People are keen to show hospitality, love and compassion. This city holds so many excellent eateries and coffee bars, not to mention organic clothing brands (including one of my favorites – Reformation). Stay at The Parsonage bed & breakfast – run by the lovely globetrotting couple Joan and John. The pictures above is from the staircase in front of their door.
Stunning Victorian architecture is found all across the city. The same goes for parks and gardens. A bike ride through the Mission District, Downtown, and Haight-Ashbury is a must. Don’t miss the Golden Gate Bridge either. Travel via Golden Gate Park and The Conservatory of Flowers on the way. San Francisco is not a glamorous city. People are more liberal, down to earth, with big smiles on their faces.
